​My working career has included such diverse occupations  as Photographic Assistant, Graphic Artist, Exhibition Florist,  Gilder & Frame Maker, and Interior Decorator. An eye for detail has been the only constant and is something I strive to achieve in my photographs, which until discovering the Hipstamatic app in 2010, had only ever been an occasional hobby. I love looking for hidden beauty in the ordinary objects of everyday life and I'm almost constantly looking for new ways to see and record things. My work has been selected to hang in exhibitions as far afield as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Ohio, Sardinia, & Naples and has been regularly featured on the prestigious website theappwhisperer.com 
Hipstamatic is an iPhone app that enables the photographer to use different films and lenses to create a wide variety of effects. This gives a retro feel to the images by using a square format with a border, just like they used to have in the ‘good old days’.
I love the immediacy of the iphone. Too many times in the past, I’ve seen something worth photographing but not had a camera with me.
Not any more…!
